Nashville Soccer Club Announces More Than 20,000 Fans Have Bought Season Tickets for Their New Stadium

The Nashville Soccer Club (NSC) said in a Wednesday statement that the club has topped 20,000 season-ticket memberships for the 2022 Major League Soccer season at GEODIS Park, the largest soccer-specific stadium in the United States and Canada.

“Today is yet another strong confirmation that soccer has truly made its mark in Nashville and Middle Tennessee,” Nashville Soccer Club CEO Ian Ayre said in a statement. “Reaching 20,000 season ticket members puts us in the top four or five MLS teams in that category, and we are clearly not done yet!”

In addition to the team’s 20,000 season-ticket membership threshold, NSC also announced that the C-Spire Captain’s Club is officially sold out. With it, less than 50 premium spaces remain available after the Goal Post Club, WeHo Club, Valkyrie Premier Club, Loge Boxes and private suites are all sold out at the 30,000-seat stadium.

GEODIS Park will open its gates for the first time when Nashville SC hosts Philadelphia Union on May 1st in a nationally televised match on ESPN and ESPN Deportes, according to the press release.

The stadium will feature a 360-degree canopy, 65-foot-wide shared concourse, safe standing supporter’s section and just 150 feet of distance between the last row to the touchline. The stadium has a seating capacity of 30,000 seats, according to a previous statement by the organization.

“Given that nobody has seen a match at GEODIS Park yet, I feel certain that when they come and experience soccer in this purpose-built stadium, they will want to come back on a regular basis and fill the stadium up. GEODIS Park is going to be a really special place for years to come,” Ayre said.

GEODIS is a France-based industry-leading global supply chain operator with its North American headquarters based in Brentwood, Tennessee.
